1. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
Explain Group-directed instructional inputs used in teaching of social studies. Discuss the importance of using "Brain Storming" in teaching social studies at secondary level with suitable examples.
OR
Discuss various aspects of evaluation in social studies. How can we make evaluation "Continuous and Comprehensive" ? Explain.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
Develop an instructional strategy including specific instructional objectives, teaching - learning activities, and evaluation items to teach the topic, "The natural Vegetation found in India".
OR
Develop an instructional strategy including specific instructional objectives, teaching - learning activities, and evaluation items to teach the topic "Nation State".
3. Write short answers on any four of the following questions in about 150 words each :
(a) Give an example of a unit plan on any topic from social studies curriculum at the secondary level.
(b) Discuss the use of Teacher made test and Standardised test.
(c) Briefly explain with example the qualitative evaluation in Social Studies.
(d) Briefly discuss the guidelines for the use of Maps and Globes while teaching.
(e) Write three items of multiple choice from the "Natural Environment".
(f) What are the major types of "Climate in India" ? Develop five instructional objectives to teach "Climate in India".
4. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
What do you mean by a "Blue Print" ? Select a topic for preparation of achievement test and develop a blue print for it highlighting its essential components.
