Note: Attempt FIVE questions in all including Question No. 1 which is compulsory and select one question from each Unit.

(g) Gender differential in literacy rate in 2011 census
(h) Health issues of adolescent girls
(i) Social obstacles to women's education
(j) Role of infrastructural facilities in women's education
(k) Meaning of health
(l) Maternal health care access
(m) Causes of infertility
(n) Neo-natal care
(o) Sexual harassment at workplace.
UNIT-I
II. What do you mean by sex ratio? Discuss the changes that have taken place in the age-specific sex ratio since 1971.
III. Define Total Mortality Rate. Explain in detail the causes of gender differentials in the mortality rate in India.
UNIT-II
IV. Discuss in detail the status of school enrolment and dropout rates of girls in India.
V. Describe gender inequalities in higher education in India. Give suggestions to reduce such inequalities.
UNIT-III
VI. What is the status of nutritional health of women in India? Briefly describe programmes introduced by govt. for improving the nutritional health of women.
VII. Examine the life cycle approach to reproductive health. Discuss with special focus on health of pregnant and lactating women.
UNIT-IV
VIII. How has the definition of work changed over time? Explain the consequences of this change for women workforce participation rates.
IX. Evaluate the difficulties faced by women to enter industrial sector for employment. Give suggestions to reduce their difficulties.
