Time : 3 hours                                                                       Maximum Weightage : 70%

Note : (i) All the four questions are compulsory.
(ii) All the questions carry equal weightage.

1. Answer the following question in about 600 words :

Describe the various stages through which educational technology has evolved.

OR

Discuss the utility of various types of visual non projected three dimensional media for teaching in classrooms.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words :

Discuss the principles of designing software meant for acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

OR

Discuss the factors that should be kept in mind for selection of media for instructional purpose.

3. Answer any four of the following questions in about 150 words each.

(a) Write a short note on the need for using educational technology in classrooms.
(b) Explain the strengths and weaknesses of interactive video in educational processes.
(c) Describe the use of any two audio based technology for imparting education.
(d) Describe the characteristics of participatory approach to learning.
(e) Discuss a strategy learners may adopt to make reading effective.
(f) Write a short note on the 'Concept Attainment Model'.

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words :

Giving examples, discuss how you will use educational technology in classroom to develop thinking skills in your learners.
