ES-331 : CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION

l. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

There are various models of curriculum development. Which model do you find most relevant for developing curriculum for the 21^st century ? Discuss.

How do the levels of teaching (memory,  understanding and reflective) influence instructional planning ? Discuss with the help - of suitable examples.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Discuss critically the techniques of classroom management. Give examples.

OR

What do you mean by teaching skills ? Discuss training strategies which can be used in developing teaching skills among secondary school teachers.

3. Ariswer any four of the following questions:' Answer each question in about 150 words :

(i) Discuss the nature of knowledge and cognition as a basis of curriculum.

(viii) How will you assess the performance of a student in group-controlled instruction ?                 Discuss.
