a.     List any five applications of logic gates.
b.     What is use of Karnaugh map in digital circuits and logic design?
c.      List any five error detection and correction techniques.
d.     What is latch? How it is different from flip flop?
e.      What is 1’s and 2’s  compliment in binary number system? Give examples.
f.       What is universal gate? What is its need?
g.     Define truth table.
h.     What are applications of shift register?
i.       Draw logic diagram for d flip flop.
j.       What is ripple counter? What are its uses?

2.     What is gate? Discuss various elements and functions of logic gates by taking suitable examples.
3.     Draw the K-Map and obtain the simplified logical expression for the following expression:

4.     What id binary adder? How it is different from half adder? Explain  the working of binary adder.
5.     What id JK flip flop? How it is different from RS flip flop? Draw and explain the logic circuit of JK flip flop.
6.     Draw and explain the working of 4 bit asynchronous up down counter.

7.     What is encoder? How it is different from decoder? Explain how BCD-to-Decimal decoder works.
