c.      Distinguish between tariff and non-tariff trade barriers.
d.     Explain the concept of ‘Standard Drawing Rights’.
e.      Discuss the features of EPCG scheme.
f.       Describe the concept of Cross-cultural behaviour and its importance in international marketing research.
g.     Identify the unique features of marine bill of lading which make it different form an airway bill.
h.     Write a short note on dumping.
i.       Differentiate between the terms ‘FOB’ and ‘CIF’.
j.       Distinguish between pull and push strategies in export promotion.

2.     Describe the concept of international marketing. Discuss, in detail, the various reasons for a firm to enter international markets.

3.     Evaluate European Union as the most powerful economic integration and also, evaluate its impact on the marketing of Indian products in European countries.

4.     “Reduction in import tariffs has resulted in bringing up new non-tariff marketing barriers by developed countries”. Critically examine the statement with the help of illustration form trade.

5.     Explain the concept of Special Economic Zones (SEZs). Highlight their role in the export growth of India and identify the constraints in their effective operation.

6.     As an entrepreneur wishing to export processed food products, identify the central export promotion organization(s) you would approach. Briefly explain the promotional support you are likely to get form these organization(s).

a.     As a first – time exporter of handicrafts form India, which mode of payment would you prefer? Justify you answer with reasons.
b.     Explain the concept of transfer pricing. How do firms use it as a tool to circumvent statutory provisions of the countries of their operation?
